✥ How Should the Sensor Range Be Commissioned? +
The neck-mounted active infrared sensing field is adjustable from approximately 2 to 6 inches. Complete final commissioning after the basin, countertop and surrounding reflective surfaces are installed, then verify reliable hand detection without unintended activation.
◇ How Fast Does the Faucet Respond? +
BathSelect specifies an approximately 0.6-second response after valid hand detection. The electronic valve closes approximately 2 seconds after the user leaves the sensing field, supporting responsive commercial operation.
◯ What Is the Rated Flow Performance? +
The standard aerator is rated at approximately 2.2 GPM. Optional 1.0 GPM and 0.5 GPM aerators are also listed, allowing the fixture to be configured for different commercial water-efficiency requirements.
↻ How Does Continuous-Run Protection Work? +
The digital controller limits continuous operation to approximately 60 seconds. If an object remains within the sensing field, the valve automatically terminates flow to help reduce unattended water use and vandal-related operation.

A 50-mesh particle filter helps prevent supply-line debris from entering the 6-volt latching solenoid. During preventive maintenance, isolate the supply, clean the filtration components and verify unrestricted flow before restoring operation.

We installed 16 units of the bronze sensor faucet across boutique hospitality restroom renovations between 2022 and 2024. As of 2026, the faucets continue to perform reliably with very few maintenance interventions. One unit required valve servicing, but no finish deterioration or structural failures were reported. The dark oil-rubbed bronze finish has maintained appearance quality exceptionally well under moisture-heavy guest usage, while the infrared sensing system continues to provide stable activation without inconsistent shutoff behavior. Water delivery has also remained smooth without excessive splashback around vessel-style basins. From a technical operations standpoint, the sensing module maintained highly accurate responsiveness near darker countertops and metallic backsplash surfaces where previous decorative faucets frequently required recalibration. Flow timing consistency between installations also remained highly uniform.
